Dominican offers merit scholarships for academic achievement and leadership qualities are renewable until the student earns a bachelor's degree, to a maximum of three years after the initial year, provided students fulfill individual scholarship requirements. Merit scholarships are awarded regardless of financial need.

Awards are made at the time a student is accepted. For students accepted to Dominican University after June 1, awards are subject to availability of funds. The awards are renewable until the student earns a bachelor's degree up to a maximum of three years so long as the student remains enrolled full-time and makes progress toward a degree.
